When it comes to travel reviews, freelance writer (and occasional contributor to this magazine), hopes to become the face of Facebook, so to speak. With the help of his business partner, Sonali Shetty, Spicer last month launched iGO iWRITE, an application available to Facebook.com users who are aspiring travel writers and may not yet have a platform in print. Users of the social-networking Web site can download the application and upload their own travel stories in one of four categories, including Road Trip Anywhere and European Adventure. Other users then respond with positive criticism. Once at least 100 stories have been submitted to Facebook, Spicer says, users will get to vote on their favorites, which will then be complied into a travel book that Spicer will publish. –Sarah McDonald
